Starting his serious venture into live audio after his Sophomore year of college as an intern at Anderson Audio, that led Andrew Black along the path to being recently hired at Clair Global full time as part of the Road Staff-all of this with now being a current Senior at Millersville University studying Music Business Technology, focusing in Live Audio.  Growing up he was always interested in tearing things apart and learning how they worked, and that curiosity has followed him through into his career path. With that interest in mind, he started doing extensive research on speaker design, observing what other manufacturers are doing, and learning everything he possibly could about acoustics.

Andrew has always found a specific interest in line array theory, which is essentially only used in large scale systems such as concert touring.  With all of the products in Black Sound, they are centered around incorporating line array speakers into smaller scale applications such as home theaters, movie theaters, and performance halls.  The creation of the C and B Series speakers and amplifiers consists of a complete sound system that is moldable to any application needed. This project has been a massive learning experience and he is very proud of what he has created after countless hours of research and design, manufacturing, engineering tests, and installation and cannot wait to share his findings with you.
