Anterior Cruciate Ligaments
By Alexis Jenkins

Alexis Jenkins definitely is very active from the start. Sports have always been her passion; growing up, you could always catch her outside at the softball field playing with her high school, tournament team, or family. This all was until she had an almost career-ending injury occur not just once but twice. Luckily, she could continue to play two years of college softball, but she always wondered why tearing your ACL, also known as your Anterior Cruciate Ligament, was such a big deal. Now years later, she is a Senior here at Millersville studying Sports Journalism. After graduation, she plans to work her way into the ESPN world to eventually become an ESPN Broadcast Journalist.
Stickman Daydreams
Jake long & Claudia Lutz

Claudia Lutz is a sophomore at Millersville University where she is working towards her degree, a Bachelor of Science in education with a concentration in art education. Art is something that has always been a prevalent part of her life, and she is excited to be able to guide her future students through the beautiful process of artistic expression. When Claudia is not occupied with her schooling or her job as a barista, she enjoys working on any odd art project she can get into. Recently, she has been interested in capturing the mesmerizing nature of fish in drawings and sculptures. She has also begun collaborating with her friend Jake to create comics. She enjoys the challenge of telling a story with simple drawings and little commentary.

Jake is in his final semester at Millersville University and plans on pursuing an electrical technology certification after he graduates to support himself while he pursues a writing career. He is an avid reader and writer and spends most of his free time thinking about what he is going to write next. His creative process is very controlled, he starts with a fragment that turns into a patchwork quilt. He loves the unexpected and thrives in chaotic environments that inspire even more chaotic stories. His creative partner, Claudia, and he started making comics at the end of December and have had a blast exploring the possibilities that stick characters provide. They enjoy exploring complex topics through simple means and challenge themselves to make the extraordinary ordinary.
