Anterior Cruciate Ligaments
By Alexis Jenkins
Alexis Jenkins definitely is very active from the start. Sports have always been her passion; growing up, you could always catch her outside at the softball field playing with her high school, tournament team, or family. This all was until she had an almost career-ending injury occur not just once but twice. Luckily, she could continue to play two years of college softball, but she always wondered why tearing your ACL, also known as your Anterior Cruciate Ligament, was such a big deal. Now years later, she is a Senior here at Millersville studying Sports Journalism. After graduation, she plans to work her way into the ESPN world to eventually become an ESPN Broadcast Journalist.

String Quartet Composition
By Michael basile
Michael Basile is a music industry major with a concentration in studio production. He is an experienced violist and pianist with an interest in classical and electronic music. He has been passionate about composition for a long time, and writing for a string quartet while in one has been a positive experience. He has written pieces for piano in the past and written many electronic works, so writing music is not foreign to him. Writing a completed string quartet would look great on a portfolio and on an application for a master's degree in film composition. Post graduation, Michael seeks to either pursue a master's in composition or a career in studio production.
