Anterior Cruciate Ligaments

Alexis Jenkins definitely is very active from the start. Sports have always been her passion; growing up, you could always catch her outside at the softball field playing with her high school, tournament team, or family. This all was until she had an almost career-ending injury occur not just once but twice. Luckily, she could continue to play two years of college softball, but she always wondered why tearing your ACL, also known as your Anterior Cruciate Ligament, was such a big deal. Now years later, she is a Senior here at Millersville studying Sports Journalism. After graduation, she plans to work her way into the ESPN world to eventually become an ESPN Broadcast Journalist.

Sarah Solomon is a senior Biology major, with a concentration in Cellular and Molecular Biology. With previous background work in the 2021 issue of the Made in Millersville Journal and the 2022 issue of the Engage for Change Journal, she is excited to continue her work with the 2022 issue as the Marketing and Outreach Specialist. Sarah hopes to continue exercising her passion of Cellular and Molecular Biology and work towards earning a PhD after graduation. As the Marketing and Outreach Specialist, Sarah works to create content that helps inform authors and those within the Millersville community of topics involving the publication, writing, and editing process.
